These terms apply to every purchase from Vivid Karats, whether you find us on our website, Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. About these terms

• "Vivid Karats", "we", "us" means [Registered business name], registered in Nigeria under CAC number [CAC number], at [Registered address].
• "You" means the person placing the order.
• "Piece" means any gold jewellery, gold bar, gold coin or accessory we sell.
• "Order" means a purchase confirmed by us in writing on WhatsApp.

We may update these terms. The version on our website on the day your order is confirmed applies to that order.

2. Our pieces

• Authenticity. Every piece we sell is authentic gold of the karat stated. We guarantee this.
• Weight. For jewellery, any weight shown on our website is an estimate unless it is marked Verified weight. Your final quotation reflects the confirmed weight of the finished piece and the applicable gold rate, with any additional charges communicated before you pay, and we confirm it in writing on WhatsApp. Gold bars and coins are sold at their stated weight and purity. Where a weight is not listed, we will confirm it on WhatsApp before you pay.
• Appearance. Photos and videos show the actual piece or an identical one. Lighting and screens can change how gold colour appears.
• Availability. Pieces marked Made to order are sourced after you order and take the lead time stated. A piece shown on our website is not reserved until your order is confirmed and paid.

3. Pricing and payment

• Prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Any GBP or USD figure on our website is indicative only.
• Gold prices move. The price that applies is the one we confirm to you in writing when you order. Prices on the website can change without notice.
• Prices on our website are estimates worked out from each piece's weight and our gold rate per gram for its karat at the time. They, and any budget estimate, are a guide, not an offer.
• We accept bank transfer, Zelle and Cash App. Your order is confirmed only once full payment is received and we confirm it in writing.
• We will never ask you to pay into a personal account other than [Official account name]. If anyone does, contact us before paying.

4. How ordering works

1. You enquire about a piece on WhatsApp, directly or through the Enquire button on our website.
2. We confirm availability, final price, weight and delivery details in writing.
3. You pay in full using an approved method.
4. We send written confirmation of your order.
5. Your piece is prepared, packaged and dispatched.

For Made to order pieces, the lead time we confirm is our best estimate. Supplier or shipping delays may extend it, and we will keep you updated.

5. Delivery and packaging

• Every gold order arrives in a branded Vivid Karats jewellery box and paper bag.
• Lagos: delivered within [Lagos delivery timeframe] of dispatch.
• Elsewhere in Nigeria and abroad: delivered within [Diaspora delivery timeframe] of dispatch. Import duties, taxes or customs charges in your country are your responsibility.
• Delivery fees are confirmed with your order.
• Please give a correct address and a reachable phone number. Re-delivery caused by wrong details may be charged.
• Check your package on arrival and report any issue within [Reporting window, for example 48 hours].

6. Damage, returns and refunds

Damaged in transit. If a piece arrives damaged, send photos and video of the item and packaging on WhatsApp within [Reporting window]. We will repair the piece or refund the damaged component only, within a reasonable time frame.

Returns. If you no longer want a piece, you may return it immediately in its original condition and packaging. We will place it back on sale. When it sells, we pay you the price it sells for at that time. We cannot guarantee when it will sell or that the amount will match what you paid.

No refunds. Apart from transit damage above, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

No buy-back. Vivid Karats does not buy back used gold, including pieces bought from us. You are free to sell your gold at any gold market.

7. Drawer safe locks

• Sold as a standalone item or with a gold order.
• Bundled with a gold order: shipped inside your Vivid Karats packaging at no extra delivery cost.
• Standalone: shipped in a plain mailer, with delivery paid by you.
• The same damage, returns and refund terms apply.

8. Liability

Once delivered, you are responsible for your pieces. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage after delivery, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.

9. Our content

All photos, videos, text and branding on our website and social channels belong to Vivid Karats. Do not copy or reuse them without written permission.

10. Your privacy

We use your details only to process orders, deliver pieces and, with your consent, share updates. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Lagos State.
